Our next Lunch Bunch will be on Thursday Nov. 16th beginning at 11:30am with lunch starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to join us for this time of fellowship.  There is a sign up sheet in the front foyer. For more information please contact the church office at 780-437-7231.

Tim will be away on vacation from November 20th to 27th inclusive. The Rev. Sarah Holmstrom will be leading the services on Sunday November 26th, and the Rev. Susan Ormsbee will be providing emergency pastoral care. Her phone number is (780) 919-3060.

If you would like to fill a stocking to donate to the Bissell Centre, please bring to the church by Sunday November 26th. There is a sheet on the table in the foyer with ideas on what to include. Please bring any other items you wish to donate, new or used, and they will be taken to the Bissell Centre as well.

Truth & Reconciliation  - Invitation from Crosslife Church:
On November 18 at 5pm, Crosslife Church will be hosting a presentation from Carrielynn Lund who will talk about her experience in the residential school system, challenges she has faced in her life and how through faith she has and is seeing painful and overwhelming realities redeemed for helping others. Crosslife has asked Carrie along with sharing her story, to challenge us on how we can join others making a significant and positive impact in our city and how knowing God makes all the difference. Our parish has begun our annual Fall Stewardship initiative. Letters were emailed out to everyone for whom we have an email address. There are some paper copies on the table in the foyer if you didn’t receive or don’t have email. Please return your ‘statement of intent’ form by Sunday December 3rd.

Winnifred Stewart: Empties to Winn Project
Please feel free to bring some or all of your empty bottles (juice, milk, cans, and other beverage containers) and drop them in our bags. Please support Winnifred Stewart by making provision for this project! Next pick up should be November 23rd, 2017.  Thank you!

Annual Christmas Variety Concert and Pageant: Sunday December 3rd at 7.00 p.m. As usual, this concert will be a fundraiser for the World Vision Raw Hope project. Tickets are on sale and are $10 each to a maximum of $30 per family.
If you are able to help by providing goodies for after the concert, there is a sign up sheet on the table in the front foyer.

Residents are invited to the Heritage Valley Park & Ride, Capital Line South LRT Extension and 135 Street/Anthony Henday Drive Connection Public Information Session to receive information and updates on the three projects.
