Join us for Lunch Bunch on Thursday May 18th at the church beginning at 11:30am with lunch starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to join us for this time of fellowship. There is a sign up sheet in the front foyer or contact Lesley Schindel at 780-989-3833.

On Sunday May 28 @ 12 noon we will be having a Building Expansion Plan conversation meeting. Lunch will be provided by the hospitality committee.
As mentioned at the Annual General Meeting, it has come to our attention that there are some misgivings and questions in some people’s minds regarding our building expansion plan, and that not everyone has felt free to speak up with questions and concerns they may have. The purpose of this meeting is simply to allow safe space for this conversation. 

Save the Date for a family BBQ and Games Night on Friday June 2nd starting at 5:30pm. Weather permitting we will have a BBQ and some fun outdoor activities for all. We will move it inside if raining. There is a sign up sheet on the table in the foyer. 

Winnifred Stewart: Empties to Winn Project
Please feel free to bring some or all of your empty bottles (juice, milk, cans, and other beverage containers) and drop them in our bags. Please support Winnifred Stewart by making provision for this project! Next pick up should be June 8th, 2017.  Thank you!

Summer Camp Jul 31 to Aug 4, 2017
St. Margaret’s, in partnership with Crosslife Church Plant, are excited to announce that we will be hosting a summer camp for kids in kindergarten to grade 4. It will be a full day camp (9am to 4pm Mon to Thurs, 9am to 1pm on Friday) and there are registration forms on the table in the foyer. As a follow up to our first Ministry Planning Day, we would like to invite you to do two things:

1.  Read through the report that Kathi Kilgour prepared from our day and see if there is anything you'd like to add. This report was sent out by email, and there are also some hard copies on the table in the foyer. Use the categories we used - i.e. the four areas of Worship, Discipleship, Community, and Mission, and the three questions "What's going well?" "What are you anxious about?" and "What dreams and ideas do you have?"
2. Come out to St. Margaret's on Wednesday May 31st from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. when Richard will be facilitating the continuation of the process - moving forward toward a specific plan to help us grow in discipleship and mission. There will be pizza served starting at 6pm, so you are welcome to come early and have dinner before the meeting starts at 7pm. There is a sign up sheet on the table in the front foyer.
