TAPPING INTO WHOLENESS: SELF-CARE and THE RESILIENT SPIRIT, Friday, May 12 (7:00 pm) to Saturday, May 13 (4:00 pm), Margaret Clark and Joanne Olson. Why do some people appear to “bounce back” while others get stuck in pain or struggle? Developing resilience is a personal journey that one does not need to take alone. It flourishes when ordinary people who live with real experiences of pain and struggle come together in optimism, support, and self-care. This retreat is an opportunity to explore “resilience” as both a human ability and a spiritual gift. For more information and to register, visit or call 780-701-1854.Providence Renewal Centre, 3005 119 St. NW, Edmonton

Please join us for Lunch Bunch on Thursday May 18th at the church beginning at 11:30am with lunch starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome to join us for this time of fellowship. There is a sign up sheet in the front foyer or contact the church office at 780-437-7231 or

On Sunday May 28 @ 12 noon we will be having a Building Expansion Plan conversation meeting. As mentioned at the Annual General Meeting, it has come to our attention that there are some misgivings and questions in some people’s minds regarding our building expansion plan, and that not everyone has felt free to speak up with questions and concerns they may have. The purpose of this meeting is simply to allow safe space for this conversation.

Save the Date for a family BBQ and Games Night on Friday June 2nd starting at 5:30pm.  Weather permitting we will have a BBQ and some fun outdoor activities for all. We will move it inside if raining. More information will follow.
