On November 11, 2016, people from various faith communities will gather to proclaim “love casts out fear” as they remember, reflect, and pray for peace in our world.
There will be an Interdenominational Prayer Service at McDougall United Church (10025 – 101 Street) at 6:00 p.m. Then at 7:00 p.m., participants will gather at City Hall in downtown Edmonton for the 8th Annual Prayer Walk for Peace. There will be four stops on the walk. The time of remembrance, reflection, and prayer will be led by members of four different faith communities.
The prayer service and prayer walk are sponsored by the Edmonton Ecumenical Peace Network and the Mennonite Central Committee – Alberta. All are welcome to the Prayer Service and the Prayer Walk for Peace. For more information, please contact Scott Key at (780) 435-1628 or

The next Lunch Bunch will be on Thursday November 17th at the church beginning at 11:30 with lunch starting at 12:00 noon. Everyone is welcome.  Please come and join us for a time of fellowship. Stan Gerber will be showing us his latest collection of fall pictures. There is a sign up sheet in the front foyer or contact the Church office at 780-437-7231.

Annual Christmas Variety Concert and Pageant: Sunday December 4th at 7.00 p.m. This concert will be a fundraiser for the World Vision Raw Hope project. Tickets are now on sale for $10 each or $30 per immediate family. There is also a sign up sheet in the foyer for those who would like to provide homemade goodies for after the concert.

Winnifred Stewart: Empties to Winn Project Please feel free to bring some or all of your empty bottles (juice, milk, cans, and other beverage containers) and drop them in our bags. Next pick up should be Nov 10.  Thank you!
