Faith, Fun and Fellowship Nights:
Due to the unusually nice April weather we seem to be having & the low attendance rate of late, we have chosen to end the ‘Faith, Fun and Fellowship’ evenings.

The youth will be hosting a Mother's Day BBQ on May 8th in order to raise money to attend this year's annual YC Conference from May 27-29. With a minimum donation of $5 per person or $15 per family of 4 you will receive a burger or hotdog, chips, juice and dessert. Please come out and support this ministry to send the youth of our parish to YC Alberta.

The Anglican Educational Chaplaincy is all about getting people connected: to relationships, to support, to faith communities and to God. We are a mission of the Diocese of Edmonton, helping Christ be seen more clearly in libraries and lecture halls and students' daily lives. Our annual silent auction and dinner at the U of A Faculty Club happens this year on Tuesday, May 3rd, beginning at 5:30 pm. This event provides a major part of the funding that makes this ministry possible year after year. Tickets are $75 per person and can be reserved at , or by contacting the Rev. Scott Sharman ( If you are unable to personally attend this year, consider making a donation at In our own church please see Doug Schindel or Chris Aasen for tickets or when making a donation! Thank you for your support!

Sunday May 15th 7.30 p.m.: Rob Heath and Tim Chesterton in Concert for World Vision.
We’re delighted to announce that our friend Rob Heath will be returning to St. Margaret’s to join Tim for a benefit concert for our World Vision ‘Raw Hope’ appeal. Rob has just released his sixth album, ‘The Key’ and you can listen to the songs on it, along with Rob’s earlier material, at his website ( Tickets for this event will be $20 at the door and are also available in advance at Eventbrite: (

Each year faith communities are invited to join together to help prevent homelessness.
As a member of the Interfaith Housing Initiative (, the Edmonton diocese will participate in its 5th Annual Interfaith-Habitat Works this summer, July 7 to August 25. In order to complete its affordable housing projects, Habitat for Humanity ( is relying on the help of 400 volunteers and is in need of 120 lunches over the two-month period.
We are asking every congregation to help us recruit volunteers for the interfaith build. On April 20 recruiters will meet at 7:00 pm at Evangel Pentecostal Assembly, 4461–50 St, Edmonton to receive the information they need to gather volunteers.
Anyone interested in being a recruiter should contact Fraser Williamson at: (780) 468-5278 or
Thank you for considering this opportunity to help prevent homelessness
