Faith, Fun, and Fellowship: Tuesday evening variety events at St. Margaret’s
·      Nov. 10th: ‘War and Peace’ 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who hate us; how do we put that into practice in the dangerous world we live in? Come, share your ideas and listen to others.
·      Nov. 17th: ‘Free For All’ 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. Continuing from last month, with room for new questions too!
·      November 24th: ‘Prayer Clinic for Beginners and Those Who Are Still Beginning’ 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. Bring your questions about the practice of prayer.

Sunday November 29th 7:00 p.m. St. Margaret’s Christmas Variety Concert: in support of World Vision’s ‘Raw Hope’ project. Tickets are $10 or $30 for a family. Please contact the office for more information.

On November 11, 2015, people from various faith communities will gather to proclaim Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with goodas they remember, reflect and pray for peace in our world.
There will be an Interdenominational Prayer Service at McDougall United Church (10025 – 101 Street) at 6:00 p.m. Then at 7:00 p.m., participants will gather at City Hall in downtown Edmonton for the 7th Annual Prayer Walk for Peace. There will be four stops on the walk. The time of remembrance, reflection, and prayer will be led by members of four different faith communities.The prayer service and prayer walk are sponsored by the Edmonton Ecumenical Peace Network and the Mennonite Central Committee – Alberta.

Friday the Thirteenth of NOVEMBER! at 7.30 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Tim Chesterton, Carrie Day and Bill Werthmann will be performing a very special concert for Remembrance Day weekend, 'Songs of War and Peace'. All proceeds from this concert will go towards World Vision's efforts to rehabilitate child soldiers. Tickets are $10 at the door and are also available on Eventbrite at

Christmas Concert Baking!
We are in need of Christmas Baking for the Concert on November 29th, 2015. Anyone who would like to contribute their fine baking please sign the sheet on the table in the foyer! Cookies, dainties, bars, fruit trays and cakes will all be lovingly accepted. All baking must be at the Church by the morning of Nov. 29th (Sunday). If you would like to bake but can not get it to the church please call the office, 780-437-7231, and we will make arrangements to pick it up.

The next Lunch Bunch will be November 19th, starting at 11:30 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church. Everyone is welcome.  Please come and join us for a time of fun and fellowship.  Tim will be sharing his experiences with Threshold Ministries and Street Hope St. John. If you would like to attend there is a sign up sheet in the front foyer or contact the office at 780-437-7231.

The Cathedral has been hosting a traveling exhibit that examines the relationship between the Anglican Church in Canada and Indigenous people from 1753 to the present day. On November 11 from 1:00 to 3:00 junior and senior high youth from the diocese are invited for a guided tour of the exhibit. The tour will be followed by some refreshments and an opportunity for discussion.
