The Lunch Bunch .
There will be no Lunch Bunch in the month of May, instead we will have it Thursday, June 11th, 2015 @ 11:30 am at St. Margaret's Church. This will be our last date for the Lunch Bunch until summer is over. Everyone is welcome. We will announce the program shortly. Please come and join us for a time of fellowship and a hot bowl of soup.  There is a sign up sheet in the front foyer or call the office at 780-437-7231 if you will be attending.

We would like to invite you and your children to join us for Spaghetti Church on Saturday May 30th, 2015 from 4pm to 6pm. Spaghetti Church is church for families that enjoy a more informal, activity-centered and community-oriented way of worshipping together from time to time. It typically includes a craft or other activity time, a family-friendly worship and teaching time, and a simple meal (hence the spaghetti!). Please note that this is not something you can drop your kids off for; it is intended to be about families worshipping together.
We do have a signup sheet policy as food is prepared for all who will be coming. Spaghetti Church is only possible because the people who come volunteer to help out with the various tasks. If you would like more information please call the office - 780-437-7231

Winnifred Stewart: Empties to Winn Project
Please feel free to bring some or all of your empty bottles (juice, milk, cans, and other beverage containers) and drop them in our bags. Please support Winnifred Stewart by making provision for this project! Next pick up should be June 5th, 2015.  Thank you!

At the end of May the Truth and Reconciliation Commission will be holding its final four-day hearing in Ottawa. When that hearing begins on May 31st it will be exactly 22 days until National Aboriginal Day on June 21st. Our Primate, Archbishop Fred Hiltz, has called our Anglican Church of Canada to observe those 22 Days with special intention. A website has been established (, and there will be daily stories and suggestions for observing this time. You can also sign up to receive a daily email from the '22 Days' project. You can read a letter about this from Archbishop Fred and our national indigenous bishop, Mark MacDonald, at; copies of this letter are also available for those who do not have Internet access. After that, please visit the website ( and consider signing up for the daily emails.
