Saturday, March 14 10 am – 3 p.m: “The Big Questions” How to address and explore some of the most common objections to Christian faith.
A significant part of being a Christian in our culture has to do with how we deal with people’s questions. We have significant and growing diversity in our society. We meet people who have never set foot in a church. Others are committed to a different religious tradition. Yet others are aggressively opposed to religion. We are called to “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” 1 Peter 3:15. Join us as we explore how we can prepare ourselves to give such an answer. Submit questions and issues you would like to be addressed to Revchrisroth@gmail.com
·      Leader: the Rev. Chris Roth
·      Please bring: your favourite Bible, a notebook, and a bag lunch. Coffee and tea will be provided.
·      To register please contact Margaret Marschall at the Synod Office (churched@edmonton.anglican.ca) or by contacting Tim at 437-7231 or stmrector@gmail.com, or signing up on the signup sheet in the foyer. Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 11 at noon.
This is part of a series of evangelism training workshops being offered this year for the Diocese of Edmonton.
