No doubt Hugo and Doreen will bring copies of the book with them for sale after the service

NOTICE Is hereby given that a special meeting of Parishioners will be held on the 7th day of February, A.D. 2010, at 12:00 p.m., in St. Margaret’s Anglican Church at which time all baptized persons regularly attending Services of worship in this Parish or otherwise regularly receiving the administrations of the clergy of this Parish are entitled to attend. The purpose for the special meeting is to discuss a proposal to have Globalive/Wind Mobile erect a tower on St. Margaret’s property. DATED 21st day of January, A.D. 2010.

Seniors Lunch will be held February 11, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church. Everyone is welcome.

Christian Basics Course: Four Thursday Evenings 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. starting on February 4th Or a weekend course on March 5th from 7:30 – 9:30 and March 6th from 10:00 – 5:00. Our popular Christian Basics course is back again this winter. This is an introduction to basic Christianity designed for inquirers into the Christian faith, for new Christians wanting to learn more about their faith, for long-time believers wanting a refresher course in the basics, and for baptismal candidates and those bringing children for baptism. Confirmation 2010 - Bishop Jane Alexander will be visiting St. Margaret’s for a service of confirmation on Sunday June 13th. Confirmation candidates usually go through a period of preparation in which they study the Christian faith and their own practice of it. ICPM Lunch Inner City Pastoral Ministry is an interdenominational ministry. They, together with over 100 city churches and faith groups, serve a nutritional lunch at the Bissel Center every Sunday throughout the year.

St. Margaret’s in partnership with another parish is responsible for providing and serving lunch on Sunday Feb. 28th. We routinely serve between 350 and 400 people and are responsible for providing half of the food.

A sign up sheet is at the back table for those wishing to help out by providing food. We require the following items:

Desserts (squares, Cookies) 350 - 400 pieces

Fruit – bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, cantaloupe (uncut)

Raw vegetables – broccoli, cauliflower, green peppers, cherry tomatoes, carrots. cucumber,celery.

Pickles – jars of either dill or sweet pickles.

As in the past if you prefer to make a donation, please enclose your donation with your Sunday offering and indicate on the front that the donation is for the ICPM lunch. We will be buying supplies to make 60 loaves of sandwiches, coffee supplies as well as extra desserts, fruit, and vegetables as required

Volunteers will be needed to make sandwiches on Saturday Feb, 27th as well as to help serve the 28th. If you would like to help out please contact Maggie Woytkiw.
